Senior SharePoint Online/M365 Developer (Remote)

Evo Technologies is seeking a candidate with strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently and in a team environment. The SharePoint Developer will support the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC).

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in B.S. in Computer Science or related field

Five (5) years of experience in SharePoint development.

At least five (5) years of experience with SharePoint Online and the M365 ecosystem

Required Certification: At least one of the following - SharePoint, M365, Azure, Power Platform

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Evo Technologies seeks a candidate to assist with deploying a comprehensive Enterprise Intranet Solution that utilizes Microsoft 365 and SharePoint technologies as the primary internal communication and collaboration platform for up to 2500 users. The solution shall include quarterly updates, at a minimum, intranet optimization and enhancements without system interruption, and unlimited technical support and professional services.

Services shall include the following:

· Solution Requirements

o Deploy and configure SharePoint Online as the core intranet platform.

o Integrate with WSSC's existing Microsoft 365 tenant and services.

o Establish governance framework and information architecture.

o Configure security and compliance settings per organizational requirements.

· Design and User Experience

o Develop a modern, responsive intranet design compatible with desktop and tablet, including a separate mobile intranet application for frontline workers specific to their needs and accessible outside of network

o Create an intuitive navigation structure and user interface.

o Implement consistent branding and visual identity throughout the platform.

o Design an accessible interface compliant with web content accessibility guidelines and best practices for web accessibility standards.

o Develop user personas and conduct usability testing.

· Core Functionality:

o Home Page and Landing Pages: Dynamic homepage with news, announcements, and personalized content

o News and Communications: News publishing system with categorization, tagging, and search capabilities.

o Document Management: Centralized document libraries with version control, metadata, and approval workflows.

o Employee Directory: Integrated directory with organizational charts and contact information.

o Search Capabilities: Enterprise search across all content with filters and refinement options.

o Collaboration Spaces: Team sites, project workspaces, interactive webparts and community areas

o Forms and Workflows: Custom forms and automated business processes using Power Platform

o Multi-level alert system to be used within a department or system wide.

o Dynamically generated features including work anniversaries, new hires, promotions using Active Directory.

· Integration Requirements:

o Single Sign-On (SSO) integration with Active Directory

o Integration with existing business applications and databases

o Microsoft Teams integration for enhanced collaboration

o Outlook integration for calendar and email functionality

o Third-party system integrations as specified.

· Content Management:

o Content authoring and publishing workflows

o Content approval and governance processes

o Automated content lifecycle management

o Multilingual support capabilities

o Moderation and restriction capabilities for interactive features

o Content migration from legacy systems

· Development and Configuration:

o SharePoint site collection architecture and configuration

o Custom web parts and applications using SharePoint Framework (SPFx)

o Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) as needed.

o Custom branding and theming

o Permission structure and security configuration

· Migration Services:

o Content audit and migration planning

o Data migration from existing intranet or file systems

o User profile and permission migration

o Testing and validation of migrated content

· Training and Change Management:

o Administrator training for content management and site administration

o End-user training programs and materials

o Change management strategy and communications plan.

o Creation of user guides and documentation

o Virtual recorded training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90, $135,000.00 per year
