BWC Senior Companions Program provides heart-centered companionship and engaging visits to older adults across the Puget Sound area — including Seattle, Bellevue, SeaTac, Kent, Renton, Burien, Des Moines and surrounding communities.

We're currently hiring Part-Time Senior Companions for the South King County area, supporting our Program Coordinator in this region. This role is ideal for individuals who love bringing joy, connection, and comfort to seniors — with opportunities to grow into a full-time role in 2026.

Position Highlights

  • Pay: $22–$25 per hour (DOE)
  • Schedule: 1–3 days per week (4–6-hour day shifts)
  • Mileage reimbursement provided
  • Part-time now, with full-time potential in 2026

What You'll Do

  • One-on-one visits to seniors in Adult Family Homes, Assisted/Independent Living Communities, Memory Care communities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and private residences
  • Provide uplifting and entertaining engagement through conversation, games, crafts, music, puzzles and other fun activities
  • Assist the Program Coordinator with marketing outreach and community involvement
  • Contribute ideas and help select monthly client appreciation gifts and special projects
  • Communicate with the Program Coordinator and complete short visit notes
  • Represent BWC's mission — "Make a Senior Smile" — with compassion, reliability, and enthusiasm

BWC Senior Companions Program was first launched in 2019 to provide meaningful companionship and engagement visits for older adults. In 2024, BWC Senior Living Placement was established to expand our mission of serving seniors and their families by helping them find the right housing and care solutions.

Together, both programs share the same commitment — to bring comfort, connection, and joy to every senior we serve, one visit, one smile, and one relationship at a time.
