Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, beverages, and light food items efficiently and accurately.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions smoothly while ensuring cash handling accuracy.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, addressing inquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and food preparation guidelines.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety.
  • Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
  • Support team members in serving customers promptly and professionally, fostering a positive café atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food handling safety standards.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food preparation practices.
