We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Coordinator to support our 60-person organization on a part-time basis. This role is responsible for coordinating payroll with our outsourced provider and handling day-to-day human resources administration, including onboarding, benefits coordination, and employee records management. The ideal candidate is organized, confidential, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a small-company environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide HR industry recommendations/guidelines as needed related to employee performance management

· Review and submit payroll data to our outsourced provider on a biweekly schedule.

· Verify accuracy of timesheets, pay rates, and deductions.

· Serve as the internal point of contact for payroll questions and adjustments.

· Manage onboarding and offboarding processes (forms, benefits enrollment, system setup/termination).

· Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state HR requirements.

· Coordinate benefits administration and communicate changes with providers.

· Track PTO and attendance records.

· Assist with policy updates, communications, and HR projects as needed.

· Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.

· Partner with management to support a positive employee experience and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience in HR and/or payroll administration.

· Working knowledge of HR compliance, onboarding, and benefits administration.

· Experience with outsourced payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Paycor, or similar).

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $30–$35/hour, depending on experience.

Schedule: 8 –16 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling.
