Responsibilities

  • Provide independent, in-home care for children, including infants and young toddlers, while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment
  • Engage children in age‑appropriate, safe, and fun activities, supporting developmental milestones, learning, and play
  • Support daily routines such as meals, playtime, and bedtime (Ex. prepare and assist with bottle feeding, meals, and snacks, following family instructions and dietary needs)
  • Provide transportation when needed (reliable vehicle required)
  • Maintain a safe environment and handle minor first‑aid needs
  • Follow family preferences to ensure a great experience for both kids and parents
  • Support infant and toddler routines, including diapering, potty training (when applicable), naps, and soothing techniques
  • This role involves working with families located within a 30-mile radius of your home. We match sitters to families based on availability, preferred areas, and family needs to ensure reasonable commutes.

What We're Looking For (Required)

  • 1+ year of professional childcare experience providing sole care
  • Must include 4+ hour independent shifts
  • Experience may include babysitting or nannying for families, neighbors, or family friends
  • Experience caring for children across a broad age range:
  • Minimum: 1YO through 13 years
  • Availability for two consistent weekdays where you can accept assignments anytime between 7AM–7PM (this does not mean 12-hour shifts)
  • Valid driver's license & reliable personal vehicle
  • Willingness to transport children when needed
  • 2–3 professional, non-family childcare references
  • CPR/First Aid Trained (or willingness to become trained)
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $17.00–$17.25/hr (bi-weekly)
  • Employee status: W-2 (not gig or contractor work)
  • Benefits: Dental, Vision, Life, and Medical (when eligibility requirements are met)
