Introduction:

Language2lead (L2L) is an established and growing online English as a Second Language school that provides classes to immigrants who work in dairy, pig, and construction companies throughout the Midwest.

L2L follows the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) proficiency standards. The task-based learning approach is the backbone of our curriculum.

Job responsibilities:

Teach online ESL classes to adults for large industrial dairy and pig companies.Provide opportunities for learners to investigate, explain, and reflect on the relationship between the practices, products, and perspectives of U.S. and Mexican culture. Encourage learners to negotiate meaning for themselves, with their classmates, coworkers, community members, and with you, the teacher. Teach for Proficiency. Continuously improve current material and create new material as needed.

Qualifications and skill requirements:

Required:Bachelor's degreeB2 level or higher Spanish language skillsC2 CEFR level English speakerStrong pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar teaching skills

High-speed internet access

2 years or more of teaching ESL to adults online

Laptop or home computerC.E.L.T.A. certificate or Master's degree in TESOL
