QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER

POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Control Officer will work on various Arrowhead projects, in conjunction with the Project Management Team to ensure projects meet or exceed Quality requirements. Project types will primarily include environmental remediation and civil works construction but will also include general construction. The QC Officer will also be required to assist in preparation of project-specific QC Plans, evaluation and implementation of project specification requirements, and lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control Inspections.

FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

· Maintain Quality Control records and inspections to ensure compliance with Specifications and Project Quality Control Plan

· Read and understand blueprints, specifications, and contract requirements

· Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, vendors, and coworkers

· Establish and maintain an effective and professional on-site working relationship with Owner, Architects, Consulting Engineers, and other parties related to the project

· Execute additional job duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required to complete the project

· Construction experience with Government Entitles, such as USEPA, USACE, and Homeland Security

· Schedule, monitor, and forecast resources for optimum efficiency

· Use in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and company operations, specifically construction specifications, building materials, methods, and procedures

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Environmental Sciences

· Minimum of 3 years of experience working on federal projects involving civil construction and/or environmental remediation projects as a Quality Control Officer

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

The candidate will be knowledgeable of the RMS software and USACE Safety and Health Requirements Manual EM The candidate will be proficient in the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook). The candidate must demonstrate strong professional writing, analytical skills, and verbal communication.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR TESTING

The candidate must have current USACE CQM certification or the ability to complete the certification processes after being hired. Current 40 OSHA HAZWOPER certification is desired.

4 to 12-month assignments in the Midwest/Southern US/East Coast of US
