Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Product Coordinator supports the Product Manager in driving projects from concept through completion in signage manufacturing. This role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, skilled communicator, and adaptable multitasker with a strong sense of color, design, and brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Product Manager in coordinating all stages of product development, including working with Product Development, research, design, proofing, production, packaging and delivery.
  • Maintain detailed project timelines and ensure milestones are met according to schedule.
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams (design, sales, Technical Drawings, Production Art, production management, purchasing, marketing) to keep projects on track and resolve issues quickly.
  • Track project progress and proactively follow up to move tasks forward.
  • Organize and manage digital and physical files, product specs, proofs, and approvals.
  • Review design files and color proofs to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Support sample coordination, product testing, and vendor communication as needed.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adjust plans as priorities shift.
  • Assist with documentation, cataloging, and maintenance of product reference materials and master swatches with an objective being color management over the long term.
  • Coordinate development of supporting documents such as installation guides, sales guides, and product packaging with an objective being templates for each.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the product development workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: 2-4 years in product coordination, design support, or related project management role (manufacturing, signage, printing, or creative industries preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Preferred experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Strong knowledge of color systems and visual accuracy.

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
