Job Overview

$28 -30/hour (overtime available)

We are currently seeking a CDL-A Truck Driver to join our logistics and operations team. This vital role ensures the safe, efficient, and timely transport of containers and container offices . Must have experience working with loads ranging from feet in size.

Duties

  • Operate truck with tilt bed trailer to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Load and unload containers and container offices, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials during transit.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
  • Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered on the route.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and operational standards.

Skills

  • Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Experience working with a tilt bed trailer
  • Experience delivering and picking up loads ranging from feet in size.
  • Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and delivery processes.
  • Ability to operate heavy-duty vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent route driving skills with a focus on time management.
  • Strong attention to detail for conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining logs.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, clients, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
