The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.  Full Time LPN Sign On Bonus - $7,500 paid out equally over 30 pay periodsShifts Available:Full Time 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m. schedule includes every other weekendRoles & Responsibilities:Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistant in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility to include monitoring POC documentation complianceEnsure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facilityComplete corresponding electronic health records upon the resident's admission, transfer, and/or dischargePerform routine charting duties as required and in accordance with established charting and documentation policies and procedures to include updating care plansMake appropriate reports to the Nurse Supervisor as required or as may be necessary.  Follow facility's established policyConsult with the resident's physician in providing the resident's care, treatment, rehabilitation, etc. as necessaryReview the resident's chart for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, etc. as necessaryQualifications:Unencumbered LPN license or eligible to sit for boards in the state of Virginia requiredAdult First Aid/CPR and AED preferredExperience in a long-term care/nursing facility preferredThis position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day.
