Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Ground-Up Multifamily - MD will:

  • Support two Project Managers on active projects, including a townhome development and mixed-use project.
  • Assist the development team with design and preconstruction for upcoming projects-a major growth opportunity.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
  • Manage documentation, schedules, and budgets under PM guidance.
  • Conduct site visits (VA/MD weekly, NC monthly) to monitor progress and resolve issues.
  • Maintain strong communication between office and field teams.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on long-term success.

Profile

The Assistant Project Manager - Ground-Up Multifamily - MD will have:

  • 2+ years of construction experience (APM or PE level)
  • Multifamily project experience is required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally to project sites
  • A collaborative mindset and cultural fit for a small, family-oriented company
