Job Overview:

V & F Multi-Service, a reputable PA license plates and title service company, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support for processing vehicle registrations, titles, and other related services. This role requires excellent customer service, accuracy, and a thorough understanding of Pennsylvania motor vehicle regulations (or the willingness to learn).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with license plate and title services.
  • Process vehicle registrations, title transfers, and other related documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) guidelines and company policies.
  • Handle and safeguard confidential client information.
  • Maintain organized records, both physical and electronic, for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide solutions to their requests or concerns.
  • Collect and process payments; issue receipts.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service.
  • Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in an office environment, preferably in an auto tag and title service or related field (will train the right candidate).
  • Basic knowledge of Pennsylvania vehicle title and registration processes is preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Customer-service-oriented mindset and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer or desk.
  • Ability to occasionally lift office supplies or documents weighing up to 20 pounds.
