Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Project Manager

Location: Madison, WI and Surrounding Areas

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and holiday work

Reports To: Vice President of Operations

Position Summary:

We are hiring a Grounds Maintenance Project Manager to complete work at our Wisconsin sites. This role demands strong grounds maintenance experience, a sharp understanding of the scope of work for each location, and a self-starter. You'll be responsible for maintaining the grounds at the five locations, quality control, and seasonal snow and ice mitigation. A valid Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator License is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete all grounds maintenance and site operations
  • Turf care, landscaping, weed control, irrigation, and seasonal work
  • Snow and ice mitigation operations, including plowing and salting
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to maintain service standards
  • Ensure pesticide applications meet Wisconsin compliance and safety guidelines
  • Build and maintain schedules to meet contract timelines
  • Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and internal teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years in grounds maintenance operations
  • Strong understanding of field production, and job efficiency
  • Valid Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator License
  • Experience with snow and ice mitigation programs
  • Ability to assess site conditions and deliver consistent quality
  • Proficient with site maps, maintenance schedules, and scope of work
  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round
  • Valid Drivers License
