BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration:DIRECT HIREJob Type:[FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY)Pay Range:$150k - $170/hr.We are seeking an experiencedSr. Principal Systems Quality Engineerto leadsystems-level quality strategy, compliance, and continuous improvementacross the full product lifecycle — from concept through sustainment — in ahigh-impact Aerospace & Defense environment.You'll collaborate withSystems, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Manufacturing, and Program teamsto drive product integrity, process excellence, and mission readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and sustain the AS9100-certified Quality Management System (QMS)Drive Lean/Six Sigma, RCCA (8D, FTA, Fishbone) , and data-driven improvement initiativesConduct system-level audits, verification, testing, and failure analysisPartner with engineering teams on DFMEA, reliability growth, and qualification testingSupport supplier quality and PPAP/AS9102 FAI process improvementsPromote a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvementRequired Skills & Experience8+ years in Quality, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering within Aerospace & DefenseStrong background in AS9100 / ISO QMS, RCCA, and FRACASHands-on experience leading process improvement or continuous improvement programsExcellent cross-functional collaboration, communication, and leadership skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's in Engineering (Industrial, Quality, Systems, or related)MS in Engineering or MBA preferredASQ CQE, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or AS9100 Lead Auditor certificationFamiliarity with AS6500, DO-178C/DO-254, and MBSE environmentsBenefits:We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance to support employees' health and well-being.
