We are seeking a qualified, professional, and motivated individual for a part-time Unarmed Security Officer position with a strong focus on community-oriented service in the Portland metro area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced armed security professionals who are dependable and customer-service driven. #PortlandPatrol

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday or Wednesday to Friday, 1100 AM to 930 PM
  • Additional hours will be required for special event coverage
  • Pay: Starting at $22.25 per hour
  • Location: Hillsboro

Job Responsibilities:

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will:

  • Patrol parking facilities and public areas
  • Respond to and resolve minor criminal or nuisance activity
  • Interact professionally with the public, law enforcement, and local businesses
  • Deter and report criminal behavior such as trespassing, vandalism, public intoxication, and other disturbances
  • Provide assistance, information, and referrals to community members
  • Maintain a strong visible presence and uphold public safety standards

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be currently certified for Unarmed Security Officer in Oregon
  • No felony, drug-related, or domestic violence convictions
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Stable work history and professional references
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round and stand, walk for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to complete clear written reports
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Oregon Driver's License
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required
