As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout retail locations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Perform regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report activities and/or incidents, maintaining detailed records as instructed by Allied Universal procedures and site-specific guidelines.
• Assist customers, employees and visitors with security-related requests and provide directions or information as necessary.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and location personnel to address concerns and maintain a positive environment for shoppers and staff.
• Remain visible and approachable while on patrol to help to deter potential issues and promote a welcoming atmosphere.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
