As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be a vital team member responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles. Your core skills in commercial motor vehicle diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance will be essential in ensuring the proper functioning of transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, and suspension systems. Individual is required to have own hand tools and be willing to acquire a class A CDL (company assisted). Must be able to follow direction and work with little supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner. Individual must possess a good work ethic and have a positive attitude. A valid driver's license and insurability required. Must be able to pass pre-employment screening. We offer competitive compensation based on qualification, experience and skill.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy duty equipment and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and hydraulic system checks.
  • Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while operating heavy machinery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
