:
  • Coordinate/Manage the S&L engineering design of complex repair and restoration projects at nuclear facilities
  • Developing and managing schedules in collaboration with project teams and client leadership
  • Providing strong leadership and supervision to project teams (including project engineers and designers) in support of construction activities
  • Demonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projects
  • Ability to work with in the Protected Area (PA) with unescorted access
  • Demonstrated capability to successfully support the management of large construction projects
  • Identify & recommend enhancements to designs and ensure constructability and sensibility of in-process designs through past construction experience
  • Participate in design and constructability walk downs during the design process
  • Act as the focal point during the implementation of projects performed for nuclear plant outages or during online periods

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of construction field engineering experience is required
  • Previous experience constructing projects in the nuclear power and energy industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with nuclear facility construction Project Support
  • Knowledge of and experience with nuclear safety including technical safety requirements, processes and reporting requirements
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Expert PC skills including Microsoft applications

Compensation Range: $116, $179,890.00 Transparency Statement: Sargent & Lundy discloses compensation ranges that comply with all local and state regulations. The total compensation package for eligible positions will include a base salary or an hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package, reflecting our commitment to rewarding performance and supporting the overall well-being of our employees.
