Job Overview:
The Sr. Advisor Affiliate Migration Engineer's role is to serve as a hands-on migration and support engineer for a variety of merger and acquisition projects. Projects include launching new firms, helping existing firms transition to LPL's platforms, and providing emergency support for time-sensitive issues
This individual will be part of a dedicated team working alongside internal technical support team members, internal business units and external managed service providers to deliver world-class technology and service to our customers.
The perfect candidate will have a good balance of technology expertise and business/relationship management acumen and must be comfortable interfacing with customers and business partners, and remote engineering and support teams. To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to think and act quickly to uphold elevated levels of customer service. Candidates must also be quick learners and comfortable with the types of issues that high-growth firms experience – partnering with program and project teams to build runbooks and develop processes as we go.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the point of contact and Messaging lead for M&A activity
- Provide exceptional technology support for end users both during and after the transition to LPL technology platforms
- With little direct supervision, solve problems on a myriad of technology-related issues while logging notes and documenting actions into ticketing and/or project management systems
- Act as point of escalation for service-related issues – potentially after hours or on weekends
- Remain in constant contact with project/program resources and be a reliable and trustworthy communicator and team player
- Provide Tier 3 support for issues related to Messaging, Collaboration, and M365 offerings
- Review, recommend, schedule, and assist with deployment of software patches and upgrades for on-premises systems
- Perform BAU activities within the environment as necessary
- Provide Critical Incident support and participate in on-call rotation

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of customer service experience and/or client relationship management
- 3-5 years of Exchange administration experience, including cross platform mail migration
- 1-2 years of experience managing Exchange Online
Preferences:
- AA/BA/BS degree in computer science, business, or related field
- 1-2 years' experience managing MS Teams and other components of the M365 ecosystem
- Familiarity with IT Managed Service Provider models
- Experience with BitTitan MigrationWiz
- Vendor management experience
Pay Range:
$44.60-$74.34/hourActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
