Job Title: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure/AWS)

Locations: New York, NY | Pittsburgh, PA | Lake Mary, FL (Hybrid Onsite - 2-3 days per week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. This is a hands-on, technical role focused on designing, building, and deploying robust cloud solutions. You will play a key part in our cloud automation initiatives, infrastructure-as-code development, and cloud migration projects, with a strong emphasis on network security and IAM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure and AWS.
  • Develop, test, and deploy infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform and Azure Resource Manager.
  • Architect and build applications using cloud services such as AKS, serverless functions, and various database technologies.
  • Lead and execute the migration of on-premises applications to cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with Security teams to integrate cloud applications with AAD (Azure Active Directory) and IAM (Identity and Access Management).
  • Provide operational and user-facing documentation for implemented solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, network connectivity, and security.
  • Stay current with the latest cloud trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in a cloud development or infrastructure engineering role (10+ years preferred).
  • Expert, hands-on proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Java and/or Python.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure; additional experience with AWS is highly desirable.
  • Proven familiarity with core cloud concepts:
  • Compute & Serverless (e.g., Functions, AKS/EKS)
  • Networking & Security (e.g., VPN, ExpressRoute, Firewalls, NSGs, DNS)
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Storage and Monitoring services
  • Solid understanding of systems architecture and design principles.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience developing large-scale, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies like Kubernetes, Serverless, and API development.
  • Familiarity with cloud database services (SQL, NoSQL, Redis).
  • Experience or curiosity in designing solutions with AI APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI) is a major plus.
  • Active professional certifications in Terraform, Azure, or AWS.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Pay: $ $65.00 per hour
