Collins York is looking for a motivated and energetic person to join our 3rd shift shift operation. All work is done in a clean, climate controlled facility where we put safety and quality first in everything we do.

External candidates will receive a sign-on bonus of $2,000employment.

What You Will Do:

• Selected candidate will operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders & other specialized CNC & manual equipment and/or perform finish work and marking of piece parts in various stages of production.
• Machinist will be expected to set-up and run machines on a wide variety of operations involving multiple machines that convert raw materials to precision semi-finished goods within print tolerance specification.
• Required to obtain inspection certification through on-the-job training & testing.
• 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 pm – 7:00 AM
  
• Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm for ~90 days.
  

Qualification We Require:

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Prior CNC operation/machining experience
• Basic computer skills such as log on, data entry and retrieval
• Basic math skills
• Blueprint and routing reading and comprehension
• Competent with hand tools and experienced with measuring equipment
