Boarding and Title Manager

SUMMARY:
The incumbent will manage, supervise and train staff, and field inquiries from Relationship Managers, Center Managers and associates within the bank to effectively board and fund loans in an accruate and timely manner. The incumbent will monitor and analyze loan boarding packages and system boarding/funding transactions to assure completeness within bank's policy and procedures, department standards and guidelines, banking regulations and legal guidelines. The Boarding and Title Manager will manage the software programs used to board and fund loans and will manage the department's production of loan boarders to meet turn around time standards. Will consult on content, acccurancy and timeliness of title documents such as preliminary title searches and title insurance policies
In the absence of the Loan Documentation Title and Boarding Manager, will lead and represent the Loan Documentation and Servicing Department and direct other managers and staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Comply with and stay abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the role.
- Supervise associates to include managing payroll, scheduling workflow, scheduling personal/vacation time and career counseling.
- Provide training and coaching to department staff and respond to associate's inquiries.
- Prioritze and assign incoming transactions to appropriate teams as applicable to their qualifications and established standards.
- Review loan boarding transactions for new associates and those being trained on new products and processes
- Approve "Rush" requests.
- Assist CMD, BFC and Departments with all loan related boarding inquiries.
- Manage the department turn-around time for bording and funding loans, perfoming title-related tasks and the execution of funding transactions.
- Manage the production of metrics reports and counsel with key business parterns on end to end process improvement.
- Identify and implement process improvements withith the department.
- Provide, produce and present The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages a team of boarding and funding loan specialists and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 8 to 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as simple interest, probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations and interpret and create charts and graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE SKILLS
Must have strong personal computer skills and must have extensive knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and related tools. Must also have extensive experience with commercial loan accounting systems and/or documentation systems including LaserPro, Medici, AFS, ACBS, LoanIQ or Fiserv Navigator.

Salary Range:$87,612.00 To $124,846.00 Annually
