Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth across various markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and extensive experience in outside sales, B2B sales, and technology sales. This role involves managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives. The Sales Director will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales initiatives, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed revenue targets through effective communication, motivation, and performance management
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on business development and market expansion
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Manage your own B2B sales activities, including prospecting, negotiations, proposals, and closing deals
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, analyze pipeline data, and generate reports for senior management
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support lead generation and brand positioning
  • Identify emerging market trends and adapt sales tactics accordingly to stay competitive
  • Provide leadership in account management by ensuring client needs are met proactively and solutions are tailored effectively
  • Conduct analysis of sales data to identify opportunities for growth, optimize processes, and improve overall performance
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales with a strong track record in B2B or technology sales
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a high-performing sales team
  • Expertise in CRM platforms for managing customer relationships and analyzing sales data
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively
  • Excellent business development capabilities with a strategic approach to expanding market presence
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles as they relate to sales enablement and lead generation
  • Analytical skills to interpret market data, forecast trends, and make informed decisions
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly at all organizational levels
