Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert behavioral therapy services, focusing on individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes. The BCBA will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care within a compliant and ethical framework, ensuring adherence to HIPAA and medical documentation standards.

Duties

  • Design, implement, and supervise behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and functional behavior assessments.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
  • Provide direct patient care through behavioral therapy sessions tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across environments.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of patient progress, intake forms, and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate families and staff on behavioral health strategies, intervention techniques, and progress updates.
  • Ensure all services are delivered ethically and professionally in accordance with certification standards and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Experience working with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
  • Familiarity with special education practices, patient assessment procedures, medical terminology, and medical records management.
  • Experience working within behavioral health settings or providing patient care in clinical environments.
  • Ability to conduct intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments effectively.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, educators, and healthcare teams.
