Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Hotel Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, creating memorable experiences for our guests in a fine dining environment. As a Hotel Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality are maintained. Your ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced setting will contribute to the overall success of our hotel bar.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Utilize Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management
  • Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes to enhance guest experiences.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining records of sales through retail math principles.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a bartending role within the food industry, preferably in hotels.
  • An active ABLE license is a plus. We will assist in getting required licenses if not already in place.
  • Familiarity with Micros POS systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
  • Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • A passion for customer service and creating memorable guest interactions is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
