The Role

As a Canine Care Specialist, you'll provide daily care, overnight boarding, and complete wellness coordination for our clients' dogs. This isn't about walking as many dogs as possible—it's about building trusted relationships with families and their pets.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide personalized daily walks tailored to each dog's needs and personality
  • Manage feeding schedules and nutrition protocols
  • Coordinate veterinary and grooming appointments
  • Provide premium overnight boarding (in approved homes or client residences)
  • Maintain detailed care logs and communicate proactively with clients
  • Handle multiple clients with discretion and professionalism

Compensation:

  • $20-28/hour depending on experience and certifications
  • $75-100/night for overnight boarding
  • Holiday premium pay (1.5x)
  • Client referral bonuses
  • Flexible scheduling - build your own client base

Who We're Looking For:

Required:

  • 2+ years of professional dog care experience (walking, daycare, boarding, grooming, or training)
  • Reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Clean background check and clean driving record
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Smartphone for care updates and scheduling
  • Physical ability to handle dogs of all sizes
  • References from previous pet care clients or employers

Preferred:

  • Pet First Aid & CPR certification
  • Professional dog training experience
  • Vet tech or grooming background
  • Experience with luxury services
  • Knowledge of dog behavior and breed-specific needs

Deal Breakers (Screening Questions):

  • Must be able to pass comprehensive background check
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be available for both daytime visits AND occasional overnight boarding
  • Must be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

Location: Serving Atlanta metro. Immediate need in Lawrenceville, GA (primarily 30045, 30043 zip codes) and surrounding areas

Schedule: Flexible - Part-time and full-time available. Build your own schedule around your client base.
