Physical Therapy Director

Location: Woodbridge, VA

Our client, one of the nation's largest physician-owned Orthopaedic groups with over 60 locations across Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC, is seeking an accomplished Therapy Site Director to lead operations at its Woodbridge, VA location.

This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing all aspects of a busy rehabilitation clinic — from clinical quality and staff performance to operational excellence and patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate is an experienced Physical or Occupational Therapist who thrives in both patient care and team management, with a passion for mentoring others and driving results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate therapy and support staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Balance hands-on patient care with administrative and operational oversight.
  • Oversee scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor clinic metrics, compliance, and documentation accuracy.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to achieve business goals and growth targets.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and patient-centered clinic culture.

Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy program.
  • Active Virginia state license (PT or OT).
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding, Medicare/third-party billing, and Workers' Compensation.
  • EMR proficiency and solid command of Microsoft Office.
  • Prior supervisory or clinic management experience preferred.
