Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and other heavy-duty trucks to deliver US Post Office Mail deliverables efficiently across dedicated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent driving skills. Candidates with experience in various truck types and load handling are encouraged to apply.

This role requires Monday thru Saturday 2:00PM to 10:00PM EST home every night.

Duties

  • Deliver freight to dedicated destinations while adhering to scheduled routes and delivery timelines.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance reports.
  • Follow all safety protocols related to driving, load securement, and vehicle operation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes.

Skills

  • Valid CDL A license with clean driving record.
  • Experience operating various types of trucks such as flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks.
  • Strong knowledge of freight handling, load securement, and route driving best practices.
  • Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes.
  • Good physical condition for performing vehicle inspections.
  • Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance in all aspects of commercial driving. This position offers an opportunity for experienced drivers to utilize their skills in a dynamic environment while maintaining high safety standards and delivering exceptional service across various freight types.

Pay: $1, $1,300.00 per week
