About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Engineering Manager
with a proven ability to lead and mentor a small but growing team of engineers while driving key projects forward in a fast-paced environment in developing, maintaining, and advancing our gas detection technologies. The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer with a strong background in software, firmware, or database development and will serve both as a hands-on technical contributor and an effective team manager.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a growing engineering team providing guidance, support, and career development.
- Oversee project execution from concept through launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions with a stage-gate process.
- Collaborate closely with the Management team on new product development and future product strategy.
- Provide engineering expertise to develop new products and services and improve existing products and manufacturing processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, tools, and processes.
- Ensure product compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards.
- Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Quality, and Operations to meet customer and business needs.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field);
- Minimum 10 years of engineering experience within a technology company or a similar industry (e.g., industrial safety, sensors, or chemical detection).
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Excellent project management, communication, and team leadership skills.
