Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a candidate for an MES Engineer direct hire position in Westfield, IN.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative MES solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and systems.
- Lead integration efforts and perform detailed root cause analyses.
- Align team focus and project objectives to organizational goals.
- Translate process flows into automated workflow models within MES platforms.
- Provide MES traceability data and applications to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leverage MES and PLC expertise to standardize and streamline design and process development.
- Execute the organization's digital manufacturing vision and MES strategy across the network.
- Support the MES platform through system modifications, performance improvements, and product quality initiatives.
- Analyze, recommend, and implement MES projects for enhanced efficiency.
- Utilize or learn Ignition software
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
- 3–7+ years of experience as an MES Engineer within a manufacturing environment or with a systems integrator.
- Strong understanding of SCADA, PLC programming, and HMI systems.
- Experience with SQL, Java, Python, Oracle, LIMS, PLM, or network infrastructure (coursework experience may be acceptable).
- Experience with Ignition MES preferred; other MES platforms such as SIMATIC WinCC, GENESIS64, iFIX, PandaDoc, Proposify, or HoneyBook are also relevant.
TERMS:
This is a direct hire position that pays from $90,000 - $105,000/yr.
