RPStaffing supports event staffing for some of the most recognizable global brands, nonprofits, and international corporations in the Washington, DC area. We are currently looking for exceptional individuals to staff several upcoming events.

: Temporary one-day event assignments

Location
: Onsite in Washington, DC

Compensation
: $18.00 per hour

DUTIES:

  • Provide as-needed event support to onsite event managers and producers
  • Provide exceptional customer service; relay instructions to guests, answer questions, provide directions
  • Assist guests with registration; check in guests, create and distribute name-badges
  • Assist with seating in general sessions and breakout rooms
  • Provide directions within the venue
  • Monitor room flow and capacity
  • Help with event room setup, staging, and breakdown
  • Run onsite errands for guests or event managers
  • Manage individual or multiple event stations
  • Assist with room resets, break transitions, and vendor coordination
  • Switch stations and responsibilities as assigned
  • Assist with special assignments and any other tasks as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Reliable, accountable, AND responsive
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills, attention to details, and able to follow directions without error
  • Possesses business attire (events typically require dark-colored business-casual attire and comfortable shoes)
  • Able to lift 20 pounds
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
