Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with a strong background in land clearing and civil site work. The ideal candidate will safely operate various heavy machinery to support site development, grading, and land preparation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, loaders, and other machinery used for land clearing and site development.
  • Clear trees, brush, and other obstacles to prepare sites for construction.
  • Perform grading, excavation, and site preparation tasks according to project specifications.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized worksite.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment in land clearing and civil site work.
  • Strong understanding of site grading, excavation, and land preparation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and follow instructions accurately.
  • Valid heavy equipment operator certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 65 per week
