Overview:
We have an urgent need for an onsite Tier 1 IT Support Technician to assist our client, a Marietta-based company in the construction equipment sector. This role will support approximately 400 users alongside two existing IT resources, handling roughly 20–25 tickets daily through the internal ticketing system (NinjaOne). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tier 1 IT support, user troubleshooting, and server-side applications including Azure, IES, Tribute, and QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
End-User Support & Help Desk
Provide onsite Tier 1 technical support for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve user issues through NinjaOne and other internal systems.
Install and configure desktops, laptops, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals.
Support remote users with connectivity and application access.
Communicate progress updates and resolutions to end users and management.
System & Network Administration
Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and profiles through Active Directory and Azure.
Support backup systems, data integrity, and endpoint security standards.
Monitor network and system performance and escalate issues as needed.
Help implement process improvements and system enhancements.
Server & Application Support
Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 server-side issues across Azure, IES, Tribute, and QuickBooks platforms.
Perform basic patching, updates, and maintenance tasks under guidance from senior IT staff.
Ensure compliance with internal IT and security protocols.
Service Management & Documentation
Follow ITIL-aligned practices for incident and change management.
Maintain accurate documentation for ticket resolution and system changes.
Participate in post-incident reviews to identify recurring issues and recommend preventive actions.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in help desk, desktop support, or IT operations roles.
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365 environments.
Familiarity with Azure, IES, Tribute, and QuickBooks (preferred).
Working knowledge of NinjaOne or similar RMM tools.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work onsite full-time in Marietta, GA.
Preferred Certifications:
ITIL Foundation
CompTIA Network+ or A+
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
May involve bending, kneeling, or standing for extended periods.
Work Environment:
Onsite office and light industrial environment with exposure to moving mechanical equipment.
Moderate to loud noise levels at times.
