Software Developer/L2 Support Specialist

We are a fast-growing software development company in the restaurant, hospitality and small business retail industries providing POS and business solutions. We are looking for a high-performing Software Developer to develop new product features bug fix based on user requirements. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver at heart who thrives in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze user requirements and to develop new product features and bug fixes
- Troubleshooting, solving and training difficult technical problems
- Participate in software performance optimization and security control
- Participate in external API communication, coordination, debugging, and development
- Participate in hardware integration, such as printers, card readers, etc.
- Work at least 1 day a week as L2 Support, listening to customer complaints firsthand and troubleshooting
- Manage a balance of speed with the importance of attention to detail
Skills/Requirements:
- Work as L1 IT Support Specialist for 9 to 12 months before transitioning to R&D department (The time frame of working as a L1 would depends on the technical knowledge during the interview)
- Extraordinary logical ability, able to analyze problems in detail and cleverly find verification methods, Achieving a logical closed loop
- Very good communication and service skills, both external and internal communication can be accurate, complete, timely and friendly, and very happy to share new knowledge with others
- Continuous learning ability, curiosity about the industry and technology, and the ability to use new knowledge to improve work efficiency
- Mastering with these language or frameworks would be a plus: PHP, Javascript, Jquery, Html, CSS, Bootstrap, Python, C++, Workman socket, ESC/POS
- Familiar with Mysql DB and SQL statements, familiar with Linux commands and shell script, have a certain understanding of the network and printers and other hardware
- Bachelor degree or above in computer science or software
- Bilingual in Chinese and English or Spanish and English
