The Extraction Operator: extracts coffee for food service orders and also ingredient orders making sure it's of the highest quality and great tasting coffee extract.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow extraction procedures.
  • Monitor DI Water System.
  • Operate extraction vessels.
  • Check brix making certain the brix are accurate.
  • FIFO
  • Transfer and filter product to holding tanks, portable tanks, and or mix tanks.
  • Process all paperwork (extraction logs)
  • Keep department clean
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with Food Safety guidelines procedures, rules and regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:

  • Good operation skill, exceptional general maintenance skills.
  • Must be able to lift more than 50lbs.
  • Must be able to work in wet, noisy and hot environment.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good time management.
  • Knowledge of extraction system and operating the vessels
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures
