Securities Intermediate Analyst Bilingual

The Sec & Derivat Intmd Assoc Analyst is an entry level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with identifying policy gaps and formulating policies that streamline related work processes
- Review and analyze hedge fund activities, procedures to reconcile cash/holdings and securities pricing
- Contribute to the development of the regional strategy for the Custody and Issuers Operations in Latin America and Mexico
- Support the e2e analysis of the operating environment in key countries defined as priority countries
- Recommend system enhancements, write specs for BRD's, perform testing and roll-out training to users
- Coordinate and execute systems UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and regressions tests as required.
- Lead process and control standardization/automation opportunities.
- Support operational areas as required.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish/Portuguese is a plus
- Some Project Management skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (EXCEL/ACCESS/Power Point, VISIO)
- Ability to take ownership of initiatives
- Ability to influence others with good negotiation skills.
- Detailed and highly organized with strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of LATAM capital markets is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
