What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
• Provide customer service by guiding visitors, drivers, and staff through site-specific access control procedures.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity at entry and/or exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to support access control and help to deter potential unauthorized activities.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all access control activities, including deliveries and vehicle movements.
• Communicate clearly with on-site personnel, clients, and Allied Universal management regarding any access control issues or concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following site-specific policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access to limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
