We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Laundry Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of all laundry equipment and systems within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial laundry machines, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. This is a 6am to 2:30pm M-F schedule with a rotating weekend shift every 3 to 4 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and ironers
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and specialized repairs
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns
• Assist in installation of new laundry equipment
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements
• Train staff on proper equipment use and care

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a laundry setting
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of industrial laundry systems and components
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
