Our client is seeking a Risk Manager with expertise in regulatory compliance and credit risk to shape governance frameworks, advise senior stakeholders, and lead transformative initiatives. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence policy and risk strategy across Commercial Credit and Counterparty Credit functions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute policy and governance models for Counterparty Credit and payment network integration.
  • Oversee and challenge policies to ensure effective lifecycle management for credit risk.
  • Provide regulatory and credit policy guidance to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to risk standards.
  • Influence senior leaders by communicating the impact of strong risk governance practices.
  • Lead change initiatives to improve governance, controls, and processes, leveraging technology for efficiency.
  • Collaborate across all lines of defense and partner teams to implement strategic enhancements.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in risk management or compliance within financial services, consulting, or regulatory environments.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in policy framework development and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues into clear executive-level summaries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA, JD, or related).
  • 5+ years of experience in credit risk management or compliance.
  • Familiarity with Commercial Credit, Counterparty Credit, and payment network regulations.
