Position Overview:
The
Superintendent
will oversee all onsite construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience managing large-scale
multifamily projects
from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day field operations and coordinate all trades and subcontractors.
- Oversee site safety, enforce compliance with company and OSHA regulations.
- Create, maintain, and update project schedules and look-aheads.
- Conduct daily and weekly site meetings with project teams and subcontractors.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to align on scope, budget, and timelines.
- Inspect work for quality assurance and adherence to plans and specifications.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation.
- Resolve field issues proactively and ensure efficient problem-solving on site.
- Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for clients, inspectors, and consultants.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction, with at least 3 years in a Superintendent role.
- Proven track record of delivering
ground-up or podium multifamily projects
valued $20M+. - Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
- Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
