Substitute Cafeteria Workers Needed for Horry County School District, SC
Job Description:
Join the Horry County School District as a Substitute Food Service Employee. You will work in the cafeteria and assist the kitchen with preparing food, serving, and general cleaning.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED or higher
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
  • Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding and respect for diverse cultures
  • Compliance with OSHA and school safety regulations
  • No misdemeanors/felonies within the last 7 years. Violent charges are never accepted with the Horry County Schools regardless of date.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of the School District's full-time kitchen staff
  • Dress appropriately as per KE Standards of Professional Conduct
  • Assist the kitchen with preparing food; Openings large cans, mixing ingredients, serving food on treys, etc...
  • Assist in cleaning and maintence
  • Follow cleaning and sanitation rules and procedures
  • Ensure proper care, use, and safety of chemicals and equipment
