As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in a transportation environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents that may impact operations within the transportation facility.
• Assist with controlling access points and monitoring ingress and egress of individuals or vehicles as required.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations according to Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Have a minimum of one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
