POSITION OVERVIEW

To be successful in this role the candidate will be able to work independently and lead a team. Our team works together daily and values dependability and reliability. Our team completes their DOT Driver certification through the company upon hire.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Oversee Shipping and Receiving Clerks teamCoordinate inbound and outbound shipping and receiving of productOversee inventory/organization within storage areas to ensure safety and accountabilityEnsure proper and reliable communication with suppliersOversee record keeping process for all goods shipped and received within the company/farmsSchedules and coordinates deliveries within appropriate receiving windows, works with Procurement and Logistics teams to optimize dock schedulingEnsure that all product is properly received, inspected, and stored. As well as that all pertinent data regarding shipments is correctly entered into computerized systemPerform all shipping tasks required to create satisfied customers, internal and externalDetermine method of shipment, prepare bills, invoices, etc.May operate machinery when loading, unloading, and transporting goodsUnload shipment as necessary and route goods to appropriate storage areasOther duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Experience in leading and coaching small teamsPrior shipping and receiving experience preferredExperience with box truck and forklift driving, preferredAbility to operate machinery, use a ladder, & lift 50 lbs.Driver's license, required

Specialized knowledge, skills and abilities:
