Position Summary

We are seeking experienced insurance professionals ready to transition from agency or carrier work to client advocacy. You'll leverage your insurance expertise in a new way - as a Senior Insurance Counselor who serves as the primary advocate for clients throughout their post-accident experience, guiding them through every step from towing and rental car options to repair shop selection and settlement maximization. This role combines customer service excellence with technical claims expertise and knowledge of Georgia automotive property damage code to consistently ensure clients get quality repairs and the full settlement they deserve for their property damage."

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact throughout the entire post-accident experience, from initial incident through final settlement
• Provide guidance on post-accident logistics including towing options, rental car coverage, repair shop selection, and insurance processes
• Conduct client consultations to assess needs, explain services, and manage expectations during stressful situations
• Review both at-fault and not-at-fault drivers' insurance policies to determine the best strategy for securing an equitable settlement
• Interface professionally with insurance adjusters to advocate fair settlement amounts that ensure clients are fully compensated
• Build and maintain relationships with personal injury law firms and body shops to develop referral partnerships and expand our client base
• Provide regular status updates and maintain transparent communication throughout the repair and claims process
• Maintain detailed case files and update client records in CRM system
• Stay informed on industry best practices for repair shops, towing, and storage to provide knowledgeable recommendations to clients

Qualifications

• (Must Have) 5+ years of insurance agency experience
• (Must Have) Georgia Property and Casualty License (we'll support your transition to Insurance Counselor licensing
• Active Insurance Counselor License or CIC designation strongly preferred - puts you at top of the list
• Customer advocacy mindset
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, policy language, and claims processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for advocacy with carriers
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Proficiency with insurance software and CRM systems
