Red Stone Equity Partners, a high-quality real estate financial services company, is a fast-growing firm specializing in low-income housing tax credit ("LIHTC") and other affordable housing equity investments. Red Stone-managed investment funds acquire interests in affordable multifamily housing residential communities throughout the United States.

Red Stone is seeking talented, ambitious, and self-driven candidates to join our Alternative Investments Asset Management Department as a Senior Vice President. The Senior Vice President | Alternative Investments AM, is responsible for interacting with operating partners and investors regarding all asset management functions for all non-LIHTC investments.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Help establish and implement asset management policies and procedures, as well as reporting templates for all non-LIHTC investments;
  • Perform all functions related to the management of a portfolio of non-LIHTC assets, including the review of financial data (including budgets, monthly & quarterly financial results, and annual audits & tax returns), insurance monitoring, cash flow distribution reconciliations, budget-to-actual comparisons, etc;
  • Prepare property reports for internal and investor purposes;
  • Perform monthly/quarterly real estate site visits;
  • Perform analysis on potential recapitalizations or exit strategies;
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to review and process cash flow distributions;
  • Provide individual and department-wide trainings, as needed;
  • Make asset-related recommendations to senior management with minimal oversight; and
  • Contribute to the company's efforts with the expansion/improvement of the company's proprietary database, as well as other procedural efficiencies.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or other relevant areas of study is preferred;
  • Minimum of ten years of directly related experience and five years as an asset manager/portfolio manager, real estate;
  • Multifamily housing experience and expertise;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel;
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of working independently within an overall asset management group;
  • Attention to detail, thorough and results-driven; and

Salary range: $150,000 - $175,000 plus a 20-30% bonus
