Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, kitchen operations, and communication , with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves preparing and serving Mexican dishes, assisting with prep, grilling , and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. The Cook will play a vital role in supporting our team and ensuring the satisfaction of our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food following our recipes
• Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to food safety standards
• Perform food preparation tasks including chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food service areas
• Support catering events and special meal services as needed
• Use knife skills proficiently for food prep tasks
• Provide excellent food service by serving guests professionally and courteously
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies for the department
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and quality control

Experience

Prior culinary experience preferred

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards
• Background in restaurant or kitchen environments demonstrating proficiency in food industry practices
• Skills in catering, serving, and meal presentation are advantageous

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
