Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting residents to and from their destinations in a timely manner. The driver will provide transportation for ECN's programming events, tours, and the Stoudamire classes. The driver will assist in marketing events at ECN to increase programming and resident's need for transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Transporting residents to and from destinations on time
  • Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the best way to transport members.
  • Maintaining regular cleaning and maintenance services for vehicles
  • Record and keep accurate safety /mileage reports
  • Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.
  • Adhere to all motor vehicle laws to ensure the safety of the driver and passengers.
  • Report any traffic violations to your supervisor.
  • Confirm all passenger rides daily.
  • Basic computer skills using Microsoft office.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a driver in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Eastside of Detroit and surrounding areas.
  • 1 to 2 years driving a passenger van.
  • Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
