Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Support Specialist located in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. The Software Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical and customer support, troubleshooting software issues, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. This role includes analyzing problems, providing timely solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Engage in client meetings via video chat.
  • Write project plans and feature specifications in English.
  • Write and use SQL to input, change, and export data.
  • Manage project timelines.
  • Available to answer questions during assigned business hours.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Train new clients in how to use and operate our software.

  • Technical Support, Customer Support, and Troubleshooting skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the software or tech industry is a plus

Bonus skills (Great to have, but don't hesitate to apply without these)

  • Knowledge/Experience with SQL (We use SQL to get the job done - we will teach you if you don't know it).
  • Business or Accounting background.
  • Experience programming/scripting.
  • MS Excel Wizard.
  • Green plant / nursery industry experience.
  • Spanish-language proficiencies

Schedule:

  • 8am – 5pm
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • College Degree or 3 years Technical Support Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred

Experience:

  • Help desk or Software Support: 1 -3 year (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $85,000.00 per year
