To meet our growth goals, we are adding a Field Installation Helper to the team. The Field Installation Helper supports the layout and installation of HVAC and plumbing systems on commercial construction sites. This role works closely with field foremen and layout technicians to ensure accurate installation according to plans, specifications, and plumbing codes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with field layout and installation of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings to determine materials, measurements, and layout points.
  • Measure, mark, and prepare installation areas according to layout plans.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of layout tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise on-site with the guidance of senior team members.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying materials, and working on ladders or at heights as required.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in new commercial construction, preferably assisting with layout or installation work.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and more than 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to work sites throughout the DMV area (100% field-based).
