We're looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Project Engineer to join our growing team at Bingman Construction Company. This role plays a key part in the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. You'll work alongside experienced project managers, superintendents, and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and up to our high-quality standards.

What You'll Do

As a Project Engineer, you'll support all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth communication, coordination, and execution:

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and budgeting for project execution
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
  • Support the Project Manager with change orders and payment applications
  • Work closely with Superintendents on document control and scheduling
  • Attend weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings and maintain meeting minutes
  • Prepare project closeout documents
  • Assist with project bidding and maintain as-built documentation

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a construction project engineer
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety, and quality standards
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • A collaborative mindset and eye for detail
  • Bachelor's degree (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture preferred)
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam)
  • Ability to interpret contract documents, specs, drawings, and schedules
